One of the main rules being broken is shoes. There is a very specific rule that you are not allowed to wear neon shoes, or printed shoes with designs. WTA has been seeing lots of neon shoes lately. If you are wearing any neon shoes, you will be written a uniform violation. It is almost the end of the year, and who wants a uniform violation at the end of the year? That is why all students should follow these simple uniform rules that WTA asks you to follow.
Another rule that is being broken around WTA is keeping your shirts tucked in. It isn’t that hard to keep your shirt tucked into your pants, so there is no reason why anyone should be untucking. Having in a tucked shirt shows class and maturity. If any visitors come to WTA, we want them to see that we are an advanced school with sophisticated kids. Having an untucked shirt, shows that you are unprofessional. Tucking your shirt in is always a good thing. Now here are some thoughts on the uniform reminds:
“I think that the new uniform reminders are good because it shows that our school is different and that they care more about the students and how they are presented” -Jacob
“I like how they are watching uniforms more, because it shows that our school is organized and well structured. It also shows that students are respectful towards the teachers.” -Kendra
“ Even though I like the cleanness that WTA shows through uniforms, i don’t like how strict they are on shoes. I understand the shirts being tucked in, but shoes should be our way of expressing ourselves.” -Anonymous
“I think that it is okay that they are watching us closer on uniforms because it is helping us be prepared for the future.” -Anonymous
“I like that they are not paying as much attention as they used to, but they are still enforcing the rules.” -Anonymous Chicken
“Considering that keeping your shirts tucked in is very difficult to maintain it is the last area that us as students want to be getting in trouble for, I don’t like having shirts tucked in.” -Anonymous
There isn’t that much of school left, so please keep it easy for the teachers and follow the rules. Thank you, and don’t forget to tuck in!
